Overall, not very impressed. The dining room is sparse and uninspiring, as is the food. My guest and I shared an order of calamari as an opener, which was very good. The squid was light and fresh, the breading just barely there.

The main course meals were just OK. I had the NY Strip steak, which was done perfectly, but didn’t taste very good. I’m a big steak fan and I always seem to be disappointed by non-Steakhouse meat. I was this time as well.

My guest got the free range chicken, which although was cooker to perfection, was boring and bland in taste. You can do so much with chicken and this fell flat.

For desert, I had the key lime pie which was homemade and very good. She had the coconut cake which, even thought she is a fan, didn’t live up to expectations.

I found some floaters in my water and a table next to me found a hair in the meal. Eh, not a good impression.

It was BYOB, but the inflated prices made the bottle an afterthought. So many great restaurants in Philly, this one was just OK.

Reservations are recommended at this small BYOB restaurant located in the heart of Conshohocken, PA.
This set price meals include an appetizer, main course and desert for $31 a person. Both the portions and selection was excellent and for the money, a great bargain.
I enjoyed breaded scallops that were pan friend and served with a sweet sauce. The scallops were perfectly done but the breading tended to fall off after the smallest of touch. My dining partner had a crab risotto which was think and very good.

Check the menu. $13 for Fried Chicken. A little much? Yep. Plus the cover charge for the live music. Plus the yelling at your companion during dinner because the music is so loud. Plus the $13 Fried Chicken. It was fun, something different. I think I had a coupon from the Entertainment book that helped offset the costs, but I probably won’t be back.

Not a bad meal. Not a great meal. It’s a neat place, the wine was good and not overly expensive. I had crab cakes that were good but not great. My friend had a pork loin that was tough and dry. Dessert was good.
