Make reservations. Make them early in the evening. This former diner turns from a classy restaurant to a hopping bar after about 9:00 PM. Any later and you’ll be fighting for a table from the drinkers. The food. Great. Steven Starr’s first and what I consider his best restaurant. The wasabi mashed potatoes are simply to die for. The introduction of Continental Midtown was watered down the brand name a bit, but still good food and a good time.
